Kerry is in the news!

Knowing how to read is so important for your work, your health and well being and your confidence. But some adults haven't managed to learn the skill of reading and it can have terrible consequences.

One of our Boosting Reading Trainers, Kerry Clegg, is helping adults to read with a programme called Read Easy! and has been featured on the BBC News website - click here to read the news article on the BBC website.

Kerry wants to raise awareness of this problem that many adults live with, and help those particularly in Newcastle and North Tyneside, where she's based. Let's hope there's enough response to provide a similar support system across the UK!
